Enjoy winter fun at the yearly Winter Ice-Breaker event

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, Morris Trudeau, is happy to invite residents to the yearly Winter Ice-Breaker event, to be held at Northview Park on Saturday, January 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“This outdoor festivity is a way for everyone to enjoy winter pleasures,” says Mayor Trudeau. “It’s a great opportunity to have fun with family and friends.”

Young and old will love the lively atmosphere and the wagon rides, inflatable games, ice sculptures and dog sled rides.

“Pre-novice hockey games will be held on the rink,” adds the mayor. “Residents are invited to come encourage and meet our future champions. This great sport really brings people together!”

Participants can warm up with hot chocolate, and there will also be a barbecue stand and maple syrup on snow.

All are welcome beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, at Northview Park, 111 Viking Avenue.

Hockey games will be cancelled if the weather is not suitable for outdoor skating.
