The City of Pointe-Claire must fell dead or dangerous ash trees in the Terra-Cotta Natural Park from January 31 to March 6, 2023. This work will take place from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. These trees are located along the trail in the central, southern and eastern parts of the park.
The work will require significant sections of the trails to be closed. Access to the park via Viburnum Avenue will be closed from Monday to Friday during the work period. Coolbreeze, Glanlynn and Terra-Cotta entrances will be closed gradually as the work progresses. Updates will be posted on the website. It will be possible to access the park via Maywood Avenue at all times during the work period. For everyone’s safety during the work, park users are asked to stay outside the safety perimeters.
New native trees will be planted in this sector in 2023 and 2024. Through the diversity of their species, they will ensure the development of a healthy urban forest.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
