Final Exceptional Collection for Debris from Tropical Storm Debby – Friday, October 25

A final collection for debris from Tropical Storm Debby will take place on Friday, Octobre 25.

If you still have storm-related debris, please call 514-630-1230 by Thursday, October 24 at 12:00 p.m.

You will also need to send a photo of the debris at the curb, along with your address, to tp@pointe-claire.ca.

After the flooding caused by Tropical Storm Debby on August 9, the City of Pointe-Claire organized a series of special collections to remove the debris caused by the storm. These collections ended a few weeks ago, and we informed you that no further pickups would be possible due to the unavailability of the contractor in charge of these collections.

However, after extended negotiations with our service provider, we have secured one final truck for an exceptional collection this Friday, October 25.

If you still have debris from the storm, please notify us by calling 514-630-1230 before Thursday, October 24 at 12:00 p.m. and send a photo of the debris at the curb, along with your address, to tp@pointe-claire.ca. Your residence will be added to the pickup list for Friday.

Please note that this collection is exclusively for debris resulting from flooding caused by storm Debby. Any other type of waste, including bulky items, will not be collected. We ask residents not to include debris from renovations or other work done after the storm, to ensure that those who still have storm-related debris can be accommodated.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
