Free recreational swimming at the Aquatic Centre on weekends with the MULTI Card
The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, Morris Trudeau, is pleased to announce that, starting on Saturday, September 16, residents can enjoy free recreational swimming every weekend at the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre when they present their MULTI Card.
“This initiative is part of the City’s commitment to constantly improve the range and quality of services offered to the community. Residents are invited to enjoy our top-notch facilities and have fun with their family, relax in the water, or train,” stated Mayor Trudeau.
Residents can get their MULTI Card or renew it at the Central Library, the Aquatic Centre, or City Hall. Proof of identity and proof of residence are required.
Recreational swimming is offered for all age groups and levels. Toddlers can play on the slide in the funtime swim area and splash around in the wading pool, while older swimmers can perfect their technique in one of the available pools. Certain times are reserved for adult swim; some lanes will be open for lap swimming during family swim.
The Aquatic Centre boasts a 6-lane pool, a 10-lane pool, and a 25-yard pool for a variety of options and enough room for a pleasant experience.
For regular recreational swimming times, check the Leisure Guide (p. 21).
