Illegal Dumping

We have noticed an accumulation of waste on Paprican Avenue in the last few weeks.

We remind you that leaving waste at the curb or in a public place, considered illegal dumping, is prohibited in accordance with Bylaw PC-2864. Those who commit this offence are subject to fines ranging from $200 to $4,000.

To keep our city clean and healthy, the City of Pointe-Claire reminds you that several collection alternatives are available to you:

  • Once a month, a collection of bulky items, such as appliances, furniture, carpets, or any other large object for domestic use. The next dates for the collection of bulky items are Wednesday, June 14 and Friday, July 7.
  • For mattresses, sofas and armchairs, there will be a special collection on Wednesday, July 5 for sector A and Thursday, July 6 for sector B.
  • Finally, the Ecocentre is open one Saturday per month between April and October. The next Ecocentre day is Saturday, July 15, in the Public Works yard (50 Terra-Cotta Avenue), between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
