Inauguration of the Hermitage Park mural
Yesterday evening, the City of Pointe-Claire inaugurated the new mural in Hermitage Park, in the presence of the artist, many aspiring young artists and their entourages.
The mural, on the theme of ecology and agriculture, was produced as part of the City’s Parks Program and is the result of a collaboration between the Stewart Hall Art Gallery and artist Seb Astwo, founder of the Agora’rt company.
Not only did this project beautify our park, but it also offered young people in our community the opportunity to get actively involved in a meaningful artistic initiative.
The young artists played an essential role throughout the process, from the ideation phase to the creation of the final work. Their commitment and creativity were at the heart of this project, reflecting the values of community involvement and environmental awareness.
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to everyone who helped make this project a success, especially the young people in the Parks Program and artist Seb Astwo.
