May 8 and 9 : Hazardous household waste collection
The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform residents that the hazardous household waste (HHW) collection organized by the Ville de Montréal is scheduled for Saturday, May 8 and Sunday, May 9. The collection will take place in the parking lot behind City Hall (451 Saint-Jean Boulevard).
Here are a few instructions for the collection:
- Have a proof of residence with you.
- Remain in your vehicle. If you must get out of your vehicle, make sure you are wearing a mask.
- Put your HHW in the trunk of your vehicle and make sure the items are properly sorted, in leak-proof containers and separate from each other.
- Turn the vehicle motor off and open the trunk so that the employees can remove the HHW.
Pointe-Claire residents can also bring their HHW to the Agglomeration of Montréal ecocentres, which are open year-round. The nearest ecocentres are located in the boroughs of Saint-Laurent and LaSalle.
