Mayor’s Walk

Come and show the world you rose to the Health Challenge

Morris Trudeau, Mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, is pleased to invite Pointe-Claire residents to the Mayor’s Walk, to be held in Pointe-Claire Village on Saturday, May 7, as part of the Health Challenge.

“This is a great way to finish off six weeks of activities in the Health Challenge program,” says the mayor. “It’s also a chance to be active, get some air, play some sports and have a good time with family and friends. These are small actions that can really improve our everyday well-being.”

The Mayor’s Walk will start at 11:45 a.m. from the parking lot of Saint-Joachim church in Pointe-Claire Village. The 2.5-kilometre route will take participants along Demers, Lanthier and Sainte-Anne avenues as well as Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road.

A face painting booth will be available for children’s enjoyment starting 11:15 a.m., right before the walk begins.

Residents are invited to come out in great numbers to this free event. In addition to the Health Challenge, it’s also the opportunity to highlight Quebec Sports and Physical Activity Day, which will be held on May 5.

“Everyone is invited to join us for this walk,” concludes Mayor Trudeau. “Come out and rediscover how much fun it is to be active and do something physical in good company.”
