National Public Works Week

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, and the members of City Council are proud to recognize the essential role of Public Works employees as part of National Public Works Week, which takes place from May 17 to 23.

“Public Works employees work tirelessly as a team day after day to make Pointe-Claire a great place to live,” Mayor John Belvedere said.

Whether it be maintaining roads, the water supply system and parks, managing waste collection, protecting flora and fauna or developing eco-responsible initiatives, the teams do an exceptional job that is appreciated by all.

Since the start of the pandemic, the teams have adapted their work to follow government health and safety recommendations while continuing to provide essential services to citizens.

“As part of this themed week, let’s all thank them for their dedication and excellent work,” Mayor Belvedere concluded.
