New publications keep residents informed

Morris Trudeau, Mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, is proud to unveil the City’s new publications, which have been re-thought and rejuvenated to serve residents better.

Three publications will make City information more easily available to residents. The Leisure Guide is devoted to cultural, sports, leisure and community development programming; Culture Notes lists exhibitions, concerts and shows; and the municipal newsletter, Living in Pointe-Claire, is a compendium of information about municipal services, current projects and upcoming work.

“These new features fit into our strategic plan and are part of our ongoing efforts to provide Pointe-Claire residents with optimal services,” explains Mayor Trudeau. “Residents can easily find information about programs, activities, recreational facilities and registration periods, as well as special events and all the services we provide.”

The Leisure Guide is delivered with Culture Notes, a detachable insert in the centre pages. It is distributed three times a year, while the municipal newsletter is published twice a year, summer and winter.

These publications may also be consulted online in magazine form, with links to other pages and external sites, at www.www.pointe-claire.ca.

“Our new publications show the abundance and quality of the leisure activities offered in Pointe-Claire,” says Mayor Trudeau. “We encourage you to look through them and take advantage of the many activities offered throughout the summer.”
