New splash pad equipment being tested at Valois Park

Starting September 3, three new water play structures will temporarily replace certain equipment at Valois Park for a test period of over a few months, giving users a chance to try out these new facilities.

The changes involve connecting additional detectors and installing a new version of the dumping buckets, a cross-jet system and rotating jets.

These new water play structures will be tested by the company that manufactured them to assess how they operate, how interested users are in them, and how they hold up over the winter.

The work will begin at 7:30 a.m. Short interruptions are to be expected in the morning. We invite you to take advantage of the last hot summer days to try them out and enjoy them!
