Nicole Loiselle appointed assistant director of the Planning Department
The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, announced the appointment of Nicole Loiselle as assistant director of the City of Pointe-Claire’s Planning Department.
With a master’s degree in urban analysis and management, a bachelor’s degree in urban planning and a postgraduate diploma in environment and prevention, Ms Loiselle has 33 years of professional experience in planning, including 14 years as the executive director of the regional county municipality of Deux-Montagnes, in addition to having headed the Planning Department of the municipality of Oka from 2001 to 2004.
“Her territorial development and planning experience was well as her expertise in project and team management are assets for Pointe-Claire,” said Mayor Belvedere.
In her new position, Ms Loiselle will be responsible, among other things, for redesigning the Planning Program and updating the City’s by-laws, as well as creating a Special Planning Program for the industrial sector.
