October 30 to November 2: Closure of A40 West
As part of the REM work on the West Island, a segment of Highway 40 West will be completely closed from Friday, October 30 (11 p.m.) to Monday, November 2 (5 a.m.).
This closure is necessary for the construction of a gantry for the elevated structure of the REM. A gantry is a portion of the elevated structure supported by two pillars, leaving a clear space for vehicle traffic.
A detour will be available via the Highway 40 West service road, by taking exit 52, Saint-Jean Boulevard exit.
