Update : Skatepark schedule from October 8 to 28, inclusively

In accordance with the new health guidelines imposed by the Québec government, the following measures will apply to the skatepark until October 28:

  • The park will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • A maximum of 25 people are allowed on the premises at one time.
  • Gatherings are not permitted.
  • The period of use will be limited to 30 minutes when there are other riders waiting for a turn.
  • The premises will be supervised.
  • The premises are under camera surveillance at all times.

In addition to the above rules, we would like to thank you for continuing to follow the health measures in effect so that everyone can enjoy some leisure time safely: practise physical distancing, wear a mask or face covering and wash your hands.

New opening hours for the skatepark 

The skatepark is now open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. to give everyone a chance to enjoy their favourite sport. There will be no supervision on the premises. Please note that this site is under camera surveillance.

Two-metre physical distancing is required at all times. We remind you that gatherings are prohibited. It is also important to wash your hands before leaving the house and when you get home.

 Increase of the number of participants at the skatepark

The skatepark may now be used by 25 people at a time. We remind you that no gatherings are permitted and would ask that you strictly follow these instructions. Please note that this site is under camera surveillance.

Due to high traffic at the skatepark, it was closed over the weekend. It will reopen at 11 a.m. today and will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. under supervision. We remind you that a maximum of 10 people is authorized on the site at a time and that no gathering is allowed. Thank you for strictly following these instructions. Opening of the skatepark

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that the skatepark will be opening today with new rules for its use in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Given the health measures ordered by the Québec Government, the City is making sure that everyone can practise these activities in a pleasant way, while ensuring health and safety.

A physical distance of two metres is required at all times. It is also important to wash your hands before you leave home and when you return.

A maximum of 10 people are allowed at a time. A time limit will be assigned based on how busy it is so that everyone has a chance to practise their favourite sport. Failure to follow the instructions may result in closure of the park. The skatepark is located on Douglas-Shand Avenue, next to the Aquatic Centre.
