Opening of the Winter Walking Paths and Cross-Country Ski Trails
The City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce that the groomed winter trails in the City’s parks and green spaces, as well as the cross-country ski and walking trails at the Beaconsfield Golf Club, are officially open to the public! Recent snowfalls and colder temperatures have enabled our teams to prepare the trails and paths for use.
Here are the locations where the winter trails have been set up, in addition to the 140 kilometers of sidewalks, the Beaconsfield Golf course paths and certain Terra-Cotta Natural Park trails:
- Alexandre-Bourgeau Park
- Cedar Park Heights Park
- Edgewater Park
- Hermitage Park
- Kinsmen Park
- Maples Park
- Northview Park
- Stewart Park
- Terra-Cotta Park (the pathway along the soccer fields, including snow removal from the stairway leading to Viburnum Avenue)
- Belmont Park, commonly referred to as Sunnyside Park (the pathway linking Parkdale, Sunnyside and Belmont avenues)
Before you head out to enjoy, visit the Outdoor skating rinks and cross-country skiing on the City’s website to find out about trail conditions.
