Pointe-Claire expands its network of electric vehicle charging stations
While awaiting activation of all the charging stations by Hydro-Québec, the City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce the opening of new public charging stations for electric vehicles. Four Level 2 charging stations, for a total of six, are now available in the parking lots of the Bob-Birnie Arena and the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre.
In 2025, 16 new electric charging stations will be deployed in three municipal parking lots:
- Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre
- Central Library
- Edgewater Park
To optimize use of the charging stations and avoid getting a ticket from the Inspection – Public Security Department, we ask that you respect the charging time limit.
User guide for public charging stations
We invite you to consult the User guide for public charging stations. You’ll find essential information on the cost of the charging stations, their locations, and the steps to follow for optimal use.
We thank you for your patience during this activation phase. Our teams are working hard to finalize the roll-out as quickly as possible.
