Pointe-Claire offering an adapted parks program for summer 2021
The City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce that an adapted version of its parks program will be launched on June 28. Young people aged 8 to 17 will be able to enjoy a variety of supervised activities for safe summer fun.
The recreation team has worked hard to develop an enriching and varied program, ranging from games to arts, to sports and nature activities. To create a safe environment for everyone, hygiene and distancing measures will be strictly enforced at all times. All activities will take place outdoors; they will be cancelled in the event of a heat wave or storm. The hours of operation and child supervision will be as follows: Monday to Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1to 4:30 p.m, and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Due to the special circumstances of the pandemic, registration will be required on the LUDIK platform. The number of spaces will be limited, and they will be reserved for Pointe-Claire residents. Registration for any day of activities will open the Sunday of the week before. A total of eight weeks of activities are planned.
