Pointe-Claire Swim Club wins Canadian Junior Championships
John Belvedere, Mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, is pleased to highlight the performance of the Pointe-Claire Swim Club athletes, who won the Canadian Junior Championships in July, in Calgary, Alberta. This competition brought together the best athletes in the country in the girls 13-17 and boys 14-18 categories.
“I am truly very proud to see the level of excellence our athletes, who bring Pointe-Claire to the forefront with their exceptional results in top-level competitions,” said Mayor Belvedere.
By the end of the competition, our athletes ranked first with a total of 1,890 points and 28 medals, including 15 golds, 10 silvers and three bronzes won in both the pool and in open water events.
Here are the results of the Pointe-Claire Swim Club athletes at this competition. From these results, Eric Brown stood out by earning the most points in the 16-18 age category.
