Previous public information sessions to demystify major construction projects

Road repairs and municipal infrastructure work can sometimes be complex to understand for residents, especially when the work is done in several phases. With this in mind, the City of Pointe-Claire recently organized four public information sessions on the 2024 Major Construction Sites. The various stages of the upcoming projects were explained to the affected clientele, along with details on the operations that will take place and their impacts.

In an informal atmosphere, the City’s Engineering Department answered the questions of those present at the meetings by offering an in-depth presentation on the phases of each site, as well as topographical maps and the work schedule. Public information sessions were held on the following projects:

  • Rehabilitation work on Sundale Avenue;
  • Reconstruction work on Monterrey and Millhaven Avenues;
  • Reconstruction work on Winthrop Avenue with the addition of a bicycle path;
  • Resurfacing and sidewalk construction on Belmont Avenue.

If your home is located on one of the sites but you missed the public information session, we invite you to contact our Engineering Department, who can answer any questions you may have.
