Public garden boxes return to the Central Library!

Public garden boxes are back for the summer, next to the Central Library.

Citizens are invited to reconnect with nature and enjoy the harvest from the garden boxes for free.

This year, eight garden boxes are available and offer a variety of herbs, vegetables and edible flowers.

To help promote quality crops and strong plant growth, we are all asked to follow a few simple steps to ensure the project’s proper management and sustainability:

–  Observe the plants without hampering their growth.

–  Pick only mature produce.

So that everyone can experience the joys of picking from the gardens and becoming more familiar with the nature around them, the height of some boxes has been adapted to make them accessible to people with reduced mobility and to young children.
