Québec’s National Holiday and Canada Day – municipal department schedule
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you of the schedule for municipal services and activities on Québec’s National Holiday and Canada Day.
City Hall and municipal services
Administrative offices and municipal services will be closed on Thursday, June 24 and Thursday, July 1. Bob-Birnie Arena, Pointe-Claire Public Library and Stewart Hall Cultural Centre will also be closed. Visit the Active at home page for a whole range of online activities.
Inspection – Public Security Department
The Inspection – Public Security (ISP) Department remains open at all times (24/7) and can be reached at 514-630-1234 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Aquatic Centre is open according to the regular schedule. Lap swim and family swim are available with registration. Reservations must be made in advance on the LUDIK platform, where you can also see the schedule.
The splash pad in Valois Park is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thank you for following physical distancing rules.
Drive-in street performances and movies
The City invites residents to celebrate Québec’s National Holiday and Canada Day in a unique way with drive-in presentations of street performances and drive-in movie showings. For more information, visit our website page Québec’s National Holiday and Canada Day.
COVID-19 and health measures in yellow zones
We remind you that it is important to continue to follow Québec public health and government guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19. In yellow zones:
- Outdoor gatherings on private properties are permitted for a maximum of eight people from different residences or all of the occupants of two residences. Distancing measures must continue to be strictly applied.
- Indoor gatherings in private properties are limited to the occupants of two residences. Distancing measures and the wearing of a mask must continue to be strictly applied.
