The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that roadway reconstruction work on Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road between Des Sources Boulevard and Raynor Avenue will begin during the week of May 18 and continue until June 2020.
An informational video on the project is available on the City’s website under Major Construction Sites in 2020 and will be online until the end of June.
Traffic interruptions to be expected during the work are as follows:
- Closure of Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road between Raynor Drive and Des Sources Boulevard.
- Closure of the Autoroute 20 exit ramp 53 toward Lakebreeze Avenue. Access to residences will be maintained via Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road. Residents who live between exit 51 (near the Canoe Kayak Club) and Raynor Drive will be detoured west when leaving. They will be able to return home the same way.
- Bus routes will be interrupted and detours will be provided. Although the content in the informational video specifies that the bus routes will be maintained during the work, and update has since been made. It has been decided that detours would be made by the buses to ensure everyone’s safety.
Thank you for your cooperation.
