Reopening of service counters and public presence at City Council meetings
The City informs you that public health measures in the public service offer will be eased following recent announcements by Public Health and the Gouvernement du Québec.
Reopening of service counters
As of February 21, the public service counters at City Hall (City Clerk, Taxation, Planning, Engineering, Public Works and Leisure) and at Inspection – Public Security will reopen to the public.
Residents are invited to continue to communicate by e-mail, telephone or complete an online request with the desired city department to obtain services remotely or make an appointment.
It should be noted that requests for administration of oaths will remain by appointment only. For instructions on administration of oaths, click here. To make an appointment, call 514-630-1200 or e-mail communications@pointe-claire.ca.
Resumption of public City Council meetings
As of February 21, public City Council and Demolition Committee meetings will once again welcome the public. In accordance with Public Health and the Gouvernement du Québec directives, the Council Chamber will be able to accommodate a maximum of 29 people at the moment.
Because of this limit, Pointe-Claire taxpayer and resident access will be prioritized. We encourage residents to designate one person per address, family or group to represent them at the meeting.
Meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the doors of City Hall will open at 6:30 p.m. Places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To ask questions during the question period, complete and submit an online form before noon on the day of the meeting.
These instructions may change at any time according to health directives.
