Resumption of certain sports and aquatic activities

Starting February 14

Following recent government announcements, the City wishes to inform you that certain sports and aquatic activities will be resumed starting on February 14 with the reopening of the weight room, the return of public pickleball activities in the gymnasium, and registration for the Aquatic Centre’s spring session programming.

The details on the resumption of these activities are as follows:

Aquatic Centre weight room
Sixty-minute time slots will be offered every day, with a 10-minute maintenance period between each slot.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 6 a.m., 7:10 a.m., 8:20 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 11:50 a.m., 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Public pickleball activities in the gymnasium
Ninety-minute time slots will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Only singles pickleball is permitted.

Instructions:

  • Reservation is mandatory on Ludik before showing up.
  • The time slots will be open on Ludik on Thursday at 7 p.m. for residents, and Sunday at 7 p.m. for non-residents, for activities beginning on Monday.
  • The locker rooms are open after the activity. Users are asked to arrive ready for their activity and to bring their personal effects in a bag.
  • Masks are mandatory during the activity.

Spring session – Aquatic Centre
Our teams are hard at work finalizing the programming, which will be published online on February 10 at noon in the Aquatic Centre section. Registration will be held on the following dates and times:

  • Residents:
    Starting Tuesday, February 15, at 7 p.m.
    Registration assistance: February 15, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 514-630-1355
  • Non-residents:
    Starting Thursday, February 22, at 7 p.m.
    Registration assistance: February 22, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 514-630-1355

Please note that changes will be made to the recreational swimming schedule in the next few weeks so that certain activities can be held. Thank you for your understanding.
