Snow Info line system in effect until April 15, 2024

On the eve of a snowstorm, the City of Pointe-Claire reminds you that the Snow Info phone line and web page are in effect until Monday, April 15, 2024. Please note that the By-Laws prohibit on-street parking during the winter period. However, the Snow Info line system allows you to check whether this is authorized due to exceptional circumstances. Simply call 514-630-1205 or visit the Snow Info web page any day after 5 p.m. to find out whether on-street parking is permitted or prohibited between midnight and 7 a.m.

Caution on the roads: Evening snow and rain warning

Please be advised that Environment Canada has issued a warning of snow and rain beginning the evening of Wednesday, April 3 and continuing throughout the day on Thursday, April 4. According to forecasts, an accumulation of 15 to 20 cm of snow is expected across Montreal.

Due to these weather conditions, we remind you to remain vigilant when travelling. It’s important to adapt your driving to various weather conditions:

  • Reduce your speed;
  • Keep a safe distance from other vehicles;
  • Remove all snow and ice from your vehicle before setting off;
  • We remind everyone to keep their distance from snow-clearing vehicles.

We also remind pedestrians to remain vigilant and visible.
