Take part in the development of the future Tony-Proudfoot Park!

The Mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, is pleased to invite residents to take part in the development of Tony-Proudfoot Park by answering online polls on Pointe-Claire, It’s Who We Are and by attending a public consultation in February.

“The park was named after Tony Proudfoot last year after we received 60 suggestions for names from residents. With this vision in mind, we are continuing this unique collaborative and democratic process by encouraging the community to participate in the development choices for the new park,” stated Mayor Belvedere.

Tony-Proudfoot Park will be developed at the intersection of Gendron and Des Frênes Avenues in the Greenwich neighbourhood located in District 6 – Seigniory. It will include universally accessible equipment for playgrounds and rest areas for children aged 2 to 12, as well as walking paths.

Winnipeg  He went on to play for the Montréal Alouettes and the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He won the Grey Cup with the Alouettes in 1974 and 1977. He was also involved in the community as a journalist, teacher, and coach.
