The Pointe-Claire Artisan Show opens its doors on Saturday and Sunday
The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, is pleased to invite residents to discover or rediscover creations from local artisans at the Pointe-Claire Artisan Show on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26 at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre.
“This is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the talent of our local artisans and to discover their original, handcrafted products made with creativity, care, and ingenuity,” stated Mayor Belvedere.
Some 40 artisans chosen by the organizing committee will offer an exceptional selection of items, each more unique than the next. Visitors can find the perfect gift for a loved one or even for themselves. Baby-friendly jewelry, alpaca wool clothing, linen items, pottery, parchment crafts – with the variety of objects for sale, there is something unique for everyone to find.
During both days, kids and adults are invited to get hands-on at a creative workshop between 1 and 4 p.m. at the Art Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre.
Visitors can participate in raffles for a chance to win artisanal products.
A non-perishable food collection will also be organized to support families in need.
The Artisan Show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 26. Visit the following link for the list of artisans: Pointe-Claire Artisan Show.
