Third wave of COVID-19: Closing of the weight room

Due to recent government announcements to contain the third wave of COVID-19, the City of Pointe-Claire will be closing the weight room as of April 8 for an undetermined period. All other leisure, cultural and sports activities remain unchanged. The Central Library, the Valois Branch and the cultural centre remain open. The Aquatic Centre and the Bob-Birnie Arena will maintain the time slots that have been in place since March 26.

Day camps

Our teams are working on planning the day camps for the summer season. Registration will open on April 20. Camps will be reserved for Pointe-Claire residents only due to the limited number of spaces available and the need to follow health regulations. A maximum number of weeks per child may be enforced, depending on camp capacity.

Outdoor activities

Since February 26, up to eight people from eight different households can participate in outdoor activities together. Distancing measures must continue to be strictly applied, and beginning April 8, masks or face coverings must be worn by those not living at the same address. Gatherings at home remain prohibited.

All MULTI cards expiring between January 1, 2020 and September 29, 2021, will be considered valid until September 30, 2021. We encourage you to renew your card now to avoid the September rush!
