Three new members for the City’s Environment and Sustainable Development Advisory Committee

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to announce that three new members have been instated to its Environment and Sustainable Development Advisory Committee: Kim Matthews, Sheila Laursen and Matthew Laplante. They have joined this committee for a two-year mandate, with the possibility of renewal.

These new members join existing committee members Gary Spiller, Elise Isabel and Geneviève Lussier in making recommendations to City Council regarding environmental initiatives and for the development of new policies and the improvement of existing policies.

They also strive to raise awareness and educate citizens about the importance of ecological transition and resilience.

The new committee conducted their first meeting on Thursday, October 17.

Congratulations to Kim, Sheila, and Matthew on their new appointment!
