Update regarding the winter paths and cross-country ski trails

The City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce that the parks’ winter walking paths are officially open for the season! The colder temperatures and consistent snow fall have enabled our crews to prepare the paths for public use.

The parks and green spaces that offer winter paths this year are the following:

  • Terra-Cotta Natural Park
  • Alexandre-Bourgeau Park
  • Cedar Park Heights Park
  • Edgewater Park
  • Hermitage Park
  • Kinsmen Park
  • Belmont Park, commonly known as Sunnyside Park
  • Maples Park
  • Northview Park
  • Stewart Park

Cross-country ski trails

The cross-country ski trails at the Beaconsfield Golf Club still require additional snow to be operational and are unfortunately still not open to the public. We will notify you on our website and on our social media pages once these trails officially open for the season.

We would also like to remind that various parks have natural outdoor rinks for all to enjoy, most of which are currently open and operational. You can view both the winter trails and rinks’ status by visiting the Outdoor skating rinks and cross-country skiing page on our website.

Enjoy the winter season!
