Update – Work at Montréal international airport

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you of an update from the Montreal Airport (AMD) regarding the ongoing work on the south runway. The airport has confirmed that the work is on schedule, is expected to be complete by November 15. As a result, the south runway will be closed as of today until November 15, in order to complete the remaining work and demobilize the site. During this period, flights will be using the north runway.

We invite you to consult the airport website for full details of the work and runway use. You can also subscribe to the ADM newsletter to be informed about activities that may affect the soundscape.

Citizens can report noise events or lodge a complaint at the airport at any time using the online form. ADM also recommends that you use the Webtrack tool to view flight paths, aircraft type, altitude and recorded noise levels in near-real time. This tool allows you to include information on the flight you wish to report with your message.

The City remains in contact with Montréal-Trudeau International Airport officials throughout the project, and will be sure to communicate any changes in the situation.
