Update – Work at Montréal International Airport
The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform you of an update received from the ADM regarding the work currently underway on the south runway, which is proceeding as planned. The airport confirms that the work is on schedule, with a completion date of November 15. From this date onwards, runway use will follow standard take-off and landing procedures (https://www.admtl.com/en/adm/communities/soundscape/noise-abatement)
We invite you to consult the airport website for full details of the work and runway use. You can also subscribe to the ADM newsletter to be informed about activities that may affect the soundscape.
Citizens can report noise events or lodge a complaint at the airport at any time using the online form. ADM also recommends that you use the Webtrack tool to view flight paths, aircraft type, altitude and recorded noise levels in near-real time. This tool allows you to include information on the flight you wish to report with your message.
The City remains in contact with Montréal-Trudeau International Airport officials throughout the project, and will be sure to communicate any changes in the situation.
