Water Shutdown Notice – from 517 to 671 Donegani Avenue

On December 4 and 5, starting at 8:30 a.m., there will be no water service until 5:00 p.m.

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that due to water main work on Donegani Avenue, the City of Montreal is planning a water shutdown on December 4 and 5 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Addresses affected:

  • From 517 to 671 Donegani Avenue

Before the water shutdown:

  • We recommend filling containers with water to meet your essential needs during the outage, such as drinking, cooking, and washing.
  • It is advisable to fill your bathtub or keep buckets of water handy so you can manually refill the toilet tank and continue to use it during the outage.

During the water shutdown:

  • Avoid using appliances that require water, such as dishwashers and washing machines, until service is restored.
  • Turn off the water supply to your refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker, if applicable.
  • Close your taps to prevent water from flowing or spurting when the water service is restored.

After the water shutdown:

  • If your water is discolored, it is advisable to let the cold water run until it clears before using it, especially before doing laundry or washing dishes.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
