Wishing everyone a good start to the school year!

The mayor of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, and the members of City Council wish all the students an excellent start to the school year.

“Young people represent the next generation for our community. We have to support and encourage them so that they can fulfil their dreams, whatever they may be. Young people have shown courage and resilience in these past few months. The start of the school year should be even more inspiring this year,” the mayor of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, hopes.

In this context, the City of Pointe-Claire would like to remind everyone of the rules for safety and courteous conduct on the road as our young people, from the smallest to the oldest, get back into their routines of going to and from school, whether on foot, by bike, by car or by bus.

“Let’s continue to be cautious and be extra vigilant in school zones. To remind everyone of the importance of good conduct and following the speed limits, signs have been put up around Pointe-Claire schools,” Mayor Belvedere says.

“City Council and I wish all the students an excellent start to the school year and best of luck throughout the year,” the mayor concludes.
