Work on the pavement, sidewalks, and curbs on Cartier Avenue

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that Cartier Avenue will be closed from July 9 to 13 during the evening and overnight in order for work on the pavement, sidewalks, curbs, and the bicycle path to take place. This will complete the reconstruction of Cartier Avenue.

The work will be performed between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. in order to limit its impact on traffic and will take place in two phases:

From the evening of July 9 to the morning of July 10, work will take place on the section between Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road and Sainte-Claire Avenue. Motorists coming from the north on Cartier Avenue will be redirected onto Sainte-Claire Avenue, while those coming from the south will have to take Victoria Avenue.

From the evening of July 17 to the morning of July 20, the affected section will be between Sainte-Claire Avenue and Salisbury Avenue. Motorists coming from the north will be redirected onto Salisbury Avenue, while those coming from the south can take Sainte-Claire, Waverley, and Salisbury Avenues.

Local traffic will be maintained while work is in progress with restricted access to driveways at various times.

The completion of the work may be affected by weather conditions.

Thank you for your cooperation.
