Update: Boil Water Advisory Lifted – Beechnut, Westbank, Duke-of-Kent avenues
The City of Pointe-Claire advises residents that the boil water advisory issued following the repair of a water main break on Beechnut Avenue, near Grassmere Avenue, has been lifted.
Residents have been notified of the lifting of the boil water advisory through door hanger distribution and may now use the water without boiling it.
Precautionary Boil Water Advisory – Beechnut, Westbank, Duke-of-Kent avenues

The City of Pointe-Claire advises that a water main break that occurred on Beechnut Avenue, near Grassmere Avenue, has been repaired.
The following properties are now under a precautionary boil water advisory until further notice :
- from 106 to 114 on the even-numbered side and from 107 to 113 on the odd-numbered side of Beechnut Avenue
- from 362 to 376 on the even-numbered side and from 369 to 387 on the odd-numbered side of Duke-of-Kent Avenue
- from 100 to 112 on the even-numbered side and from 101 to 103 on the odd-numbered side of Westbank Avenue
Affected residents must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it or using it for drinking, food preparation, or brushing teeth.
Residents will be notified when the boil water advisory is lifted through the delivery of a door hanger and an update to this notice.
This advisory will be updated as the situation evolves.
