Tree Felling Operations in Various Parks, Green Spaces and Wooded Areas

Published on February 3, 2026 to 9:26 a.m.

The City of Pointe‑Claire would like to inform you that it is carrying out necessary work to remove dead or hazardous trees in various parks, green spaces and wooded areas.

These operations target trees that are declining, weakened, affected by diseases or harmful insects, or that pose a safety risk to the public.

They follow individual inspections conducted by our arboriculture professionals, who determined that pruning or proper cabling would not be enough to make these trees safe.

Please note that new trees will be planted to replace the removed ones during the summer of 2026.
