The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that the next phases of road improvement work will take place on Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road, between the Pointe-Claire Canoe and Kayak Club and Lakeside Avenue.

The work will begin on September 21 and continue until October 23, 2026.

During phases 3 and 4, sidewalk and curb reconstruction work will be carried out.

Traffic

During the work, motor vehicle traffic will be permitted westbound only.

Access to residences will be available only from the east end of the work zone. Access to driveways will be restored once the concrete has reached sufficient strength to allow vehicles to travel over it.

Parking will be available at the Pointe-Claire Canoe and Kayak Club, in the lower parking lot of the Baie-de-Valois Nautical Centre, as well as on nearby streets outside the work zone, in accordance with posted signage.

The collective taxi service will end on September 20 at 10 p.m.

The stops for the 202 Dawson bus travelling westbound will then be restored, while the eastbound detour will continue. For passengers travelling eastbound on the 202 bus, the temporary stop located on Highway 20 East, near Lakeside Avenue, will remain in service.
