REM Work: Traffic Disruptions on Des Sources Boulevard

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that construction work related to the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) project will result in traffic impacts on Des Sources Boulevard during the night of September 2 to 3, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Traffic Restrictions Expected

Lane reductions are expected during the various phases of the work:

Phase 1

  • On Des Sources Boulevard southbound, the right-hand lanes will be reduced between Hymus Boulevard and the exit from the Félix-Leclerc Highway (40) service road toward the east.
  • The exit ramp from Félix-Leclerc Highway (40) to Des Sources Boulevard southbound will be reduced.
  • On Des Sources Boulevard northbound, the right-hand lane will be reduced between Hymus Boulevard and Place Transcanadienne.

Phase 2

  • On Des Sources Boulevard southbound, the left lane will be reduced between Hymus Boulevard and Place Transcanadienne.
  • On Des Sources Boulevard northbound, the left lanes will be reduced between Hymus Boulevard and Place Transcanadienne.

Motorists are asked to remain extra vigilant, follow the instructions on all signs posted, and slow down when approaching work zones to help ensure worker safety.
