Lifting of Boil Water Advisory – Charles Avenue near De Little Rock Avenue and Summerhill Avenue

The City of Pointe-Claire advises residents that the boil water advisory issued following the repair of a water main break on Charles Avenue, near De Little Rock Avenue and Summerhill Avenue, has been lifted. 

Residents were notified of the lifting of the boil water advisory through door hanger distribution and may now use the water without boiling it. 

Boil Water Advisory in Effect – Charles Avenue near De Little Rock Avenue and Summerhill Avenue

The City of Pointe-Claire advises that the new water main break that occurred on Charles Avenue, near De Little Rock Avenue and Summerhill Avenue, has been repaired. 

The homes on Charles Avenue between De Little Rock Avenue and Summerhill Avenue are now under a precautionary boil water advisory until further notice. 

Affected residents must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it or using it for drinking, food preparation, or brushing teeth. 

Residents will be notified when the boil water advisory is lifted through the delivery of a door hanger and an update to this notice. 

This advisory will be updated as the situation evolves. 

Watermain Break Repair – Charles Avenue

The City of Pointe-Claire informs you that the watermain break that occurred on Charles Avenue, near De Little Rock Avenue, has been repaired.   

No boil water advisory has been issued.   

Water Shutoff – Charles Avenue

April 8, 2026

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to advise you that a water main break has occurred on Charles Avenue, near De Little Rock Avenue. 

 A water shutoff is required in order to carry out the repairs. 
The following homes are affected by this service interruption: 

  • From 106 to 124 Charles Avenue 

Work will begin shortly. 

This notice will be updated as the situation evolves.
