Since its creation in 1967 for Canada’s Centennial, the Art Rental and Sales Service has taken an active role in promoting and sharing art within the community. Over 110 contemporary works of art are made available to the public for rent or purchase every year. A simple, affordable way to enhance your decor!

Every year, the Art Rental and Sales Service updates its collection and invites artists to submit their works of art to panel members. The selected works of art, which include drawings, paintings, photographs, engravings and mixed media pieces, are initially put on exhibit at the Art Gallery and are then made available for sale or rent.

3% of the artwork’s purchase price
$6 to $30

Rental period:

4 weeks

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre presents the first ever MiNi Art Rental Collection, a space for artistic expression for children aged 12 years and under.

The MiNi collection is composed exclusively of artworks created by Pointe-Claire children 12 years and under. The budding artists can use a variety of techniques including drawing, painting, pastel or photography to express their talent while exploring new mediums.

The artworks selected after a call for submissions are enhanced by professional framing by the Stewart Hall Art Gallery and exhibited in the Kids’ Corner of the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre.

At the end of the exhibition, the artworks are available for rental or sale at the Art Rental and Sales Service for one year. All proceeds will go to an organisation that promotes the development of children.

The collection is renewed each year in the fall. The call for submissions is published in spring.
