Description
Six legs, a shell, antennae… How are insects different from other arthropods (those small creatures with jointed legs)? How do they communicate? How can they be classified?
By observing arthropod specimens—both live and preserved—participants will learn to identify and classify various insects and their close relatives.
We will also explore how they change throughout their life cycle. Let’s demystify this unloved, often misunderstood, yet utterly fascinating, group!
