Book and Art in the park

A creative and fun morning en plein air!

Meet the Reading Brigade and the Cultural mediation team in a park near you!

Many free artistic and literary activities are offered to the little wonderers, such as:

-    Reading nook;
-    Storytime for kids;  
-    Making Aquatic Creatures;
-    Art workshop with recycling material.

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. only: Meet artist Patrick Bérubé, who will create a public art installation in Edgewater Park in the fall of 2026 titled Tracer le bord de l’eau, and take part in a Cultural mediation project related to the installation by sharing a word or an emotion connected to the lake, nature, or Edgewater Park!

Ages 5 and up.

Child accompanied by an adult.

Drop-in workshop (bilingual).

In case of rain, the event will be postponed until the following day, Wednesday, August 12 at 9 a.m.
