Today a French region, yesterday a German one, its history swings from one empire to another. Sitting between the Vosges mountains and Germany, crossed and separated by the Rhine, with cities such as Strasbourg, Colmar and Mulhouse, this is a beautiful region. Stroll along its flower-filled roads, the wine route and the route des châteaux, and you'll find a place that stands out for its colors and smells, its tastes, its people and its accents.
