To meet the requirements of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities, in June 2024, the Pointe-Claire City Council adopted the By-Law to Review the Division of Electoral Districts.
The purpose of this by-law is to meet the parameters of the Act, namely that the number of electors in a district must not be greater or less than 15% of the result obtained by dividing the total number of electors in the municipality by the number of districts.
The changes to the mapping of municipal districts within the territory of the City of Pointe-Claire apply to Districts 4 – Cedar Park Heights, District 5 – Lakeside Heights, District 6 – Seigniory and District 7 – Northview.
