Notice to Notaries
You must inform the new owners of the dates of upcoming payments and the amounts to be paid.
You must adjust the water consumption used by the seller in the same way as the distribution of taxes, regardless of the property.
This annual tax account is received during the month of September for residential owners, in June for commercial and industrial owners, and in November for multi-unit housing owners. The billing includes consumption costs. Payment is required within 30 days. Accounts over $300 are payable in two installments.
Water Meter Reading
Each year, during the summer season, a team goes through the streets of Pointe-Claire to read the water meters of residential buildings with six units or fewer in order to measure consumption. A notice is published every July when students carry out this route. To consult this notice, please visit our Notices and Alerts section.
