Ecocentres

The Ecocentres of the Montreal agglomeration are accessible all year round. The local ecocentres take place on four occasions on Saturdays, in May, July, September, and October, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Contrary to what was previously announced, there will be no compost available at the ecocentre on September 13.

Ecocentres enable citizens to dispose of various items in a straightforward and efficient manner so that they can be reused, recycled, or recovered. They facilitate the proper management of residual materials by extending the lifespan of objects and materials and diverting them from landfill sites. You can specifically bring construction residues, electronic products, tires, and items that cannot be collected during regular collections, bulky item collections, and hazardous household waste collections.

Local Ecocentres

Dates: May 10, July 12, September 13, and October 18, 2025.

The collection takes place at the Public Works yard from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (50 Terra-Cotta Avenue)

Document Shredding Service

A document shredding service is available at local ecocentres. Any paper with or without staples and bindings is accepted for shredding. Documents must be free of clips; plastic sheets and binders are not accepted. Shredding is done on-site. This service is only offered to citizens. It is not available to businesses.

Compost and Wood Chip Distribution

At local ecocentres, compost and wood chips may be offered to citizens depending on availability in the spring and fall. We invite you to visit this page a few days before an ecocentre day to find out if compost will be distributed.

On September 13, wood chips will be available. No compost will be provided.

We thank you for limiting your quantity to 100 L per person to allow as many citizens as possible to benefit from it.

Don't forget to bring your shovel and containers!
