The City provides residents with a free of charge mini kitchen bin to help make collecting food scraps at home simple and convenient.

The mini kitchen bin allows you to temporarily store compostable materials indoors before transferring them to your green bin.

Compact and practical, it can be placed on the countertop, under the sink or in a cupboard. Its size makes it easy to rinse in the sink and it is dishwasher safe.

Each household is eligible to receive one mini kitchen compost bin, provided it has not already received a kitchen cone.

The mini bin is available exclusively to Pointe-Claire residences while supplies last. Businesses and institutions are not eligible.
