The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to express its deep sorrow following the school shooting that occurred on February 10 at a high school in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, which took the lives of at least ten people and left several others injured.
As a sign of remembrance and support, the Canadian flag in front of City Hall has been lowered to half-mast, in accordance with the Prime Minister of Canada’s decision to have the national flag lowered for the next seven days. This symbolic gesture is a reminder of the importance of solidarity and kindness during such difficult times.
