Inauguration of New REM Stations – What To Expect
The City of Pointe-Claire is happy to share that the REM is organizing an inauguration weekend for its four new West Island stations, including two located in Pointe-Claire: Des Sources and Fairview–Pointe-Claire.
On Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, visitors can use the REM free of charge from the Des Sources, Fairview–Pointe-Claire, Kirkland and Anse-à-l’Orme stations. This free access is only offered between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. and applies exclusively to trips from these four new stations.
All other REM stations, including those on the Brossard and Deux-Montagnes branches, will continue to operate on their regular schedules and at current fare rates.
Getting to the Stations for the Inauguration
REM stations are accessible by foot, bicycle, public transportation, or car.
